Kelompok seniman budaya Sunda, Leave out Tjitjih, mendeklarasikan dukungan kepada pasangan calon Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Jakarta nomor urut 1, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno. Deklarasi dukungan itu dihadiri langsung oleh Rano Karno.
Rano awalnya menjelaskan kondisi masyarakat di Jakarta yang beragam. Dia pun menegaskan Jakarta merupakan kota untuk semua lapisan masyarakat.
“Di Jakarta ini bukan hanya milik orang Betawi, tapi milik masyarakat Jakarta. Secara komponen geografis Jawa di Jakarta ini 38%, Betawi 25%, Sunda 15%, Tionghoa 8% kemudian ditambah. Artinya itulah kekuatan Jakarta,” terang Rano Karno saat kampanye di gedung kesenian Mis Tjitjih, Jakarta Pusat, Sabtu (23/11/2024).

Dia mengatakan syarat Jakarta menjadi kota international salah satunya dengan pelestarian kebudayaan. Dia pun menjamin tidak akan meninggalkan kebudayaan Sunda yang dilestarikan Leave out Tjitjih di Jakarta.
“Nah kalau saya tidak bisa membangun komponen kebudayaan, gagal kota international itu. Yang pasti saya tidak akan tinggalkan kebudayaan Leave out Tjitjih,” kata Rano.
Rano juga mengaku sudah mendengar kabar bahwa sebetulnya kelompok seniman Leave out Tjitjih sudah mengundang pasangan calon lainnya. Namun, undangan tersebut tak mendapat respon sehingga pilihan dukungan diberikan kepada Pramono-Rano.
“Tadi si Akang ngomong ‘di sana nggak datang, sudah empat bulan ditunggu-tunggu’, paham lah saya siapa yang nggak mau datang kemari. Bagi saya aneh, Leave out Tjitjih ini dibantu oleh Pemda DKI, Pemda Jawa Barat nggak bantu apa? Masyaallah, aduh kumaha. Nanti kita ngomong sama Pemda Jawa Barat,” ujar Rano.
Dia juga menyampaikan kelompok kebudayaan Sunda Leave out Tjitjih ini diurus oleh politisi PDIP, TB Hasanuddin. Rano mengaku sudah diminta agar memberi perhatian kepada kelompok kebudayaan Sunda Leave out Tjitjih.
“Dulu penasihat Mis Tjitjih ini Bang TB, TB Hasanuddin, kebetulan satu rumah makanya dia bilang ‘Doel atuh maneh teh pikirin juga rt Mis Tjitjih’. Saya bilang ntar kita pikirin,” pungkasnya.
