Polda Metro Jaya menjelaskan duduk perkara aksi petugas patroli dan pengawalan (patwal) mobil Lexus berpelat RI-36 yang menunjuk-nunjuk dan menyerobot kemacetan di jalan Sudirman. Anggota Patwal yang diketahui bernama Brigadir DK tersebut sudah diperiksa.
Wadirlantas AKBP Argo membenarkan petugas patwal tersebut merupakan anggota Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Metro Jaya. Peristiwa itu disebut terjadi pada Rabu (8/1) sore.
Berdasarkan pemeriksaan Brigadir DK, saat kejadian ada truk penambal jalan yang berhenti di lajur tengah hingga menimbulkan kemacetan. Saat itu Alphard taksi on-line mencoba menghindar sehingga hampir serempetan dengan mobil lain.

“Akibat hal tersebut, Alphard taksi on-line tersebut berhenti mendadak. Akibatnya taksi Alphard berhenti dengan jeda agak lama,” kata Argo dalam keterangannya, Jumat (10/1/2025).
Saat itu terjadi perdebatan antara kedua mobil tersebut sehingga membuat kemacetan. Petugas patwal pun berinisiatif melerai keributan yang terjadi. Momen tersebut lah yang diviralkan petugas ‘arogan’ menunjuk-nunjuk pemobil lain.
“Saat itu terlihat terjadi perdebatan antara kedua kendaraan tersebut sehingga menyebabkan kemacetan dan berpotensi menimbulkan kemacetan. Saat itu pers pengawal segera berinisiatif untuk melerai dan meminta kendaraan taksi Alphard agar segera maju sehingga tidak menimbulkan kemacetan. (saat itu terlihat gestur anggota sambil menunjuk seolah arogan),” jelasnya.
Argo menambahkan Bripka DK saat ini sudah diberikan teguran. Pihak kepolisian juga tengah mencari keberadaan pengemudi taksi on-line tersebut untuk dimintai klarifikasi.
“Diberikan sanksi teguran untuk lebih humanis pada saat melaksanakan giat pengawalan. Selanjutnya Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya akan juga akan mencari pengemudi taksi Alphard untuk meminta klarifikasi apakah ada tindakan atau ucapan dari personel Ditlantas yang dianggap tidak sopan atau arogan,” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut, Argo meminta maaf aksi Bripka DK viral dan membuat gaduh. Dia menegaskan pihaknya akan melakukan evaluasi.
“Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya meminta maaf apabila sikap gestur yang dilakukan oleh anggota dianggap tidak layak atau arogan akan menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk giat pengawalan selanjutnya,” tuturnya.
