Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bahlil Lahadalia mengaku termenung saat mendengar ayat suci Al-Quran dibacakan dalam pembukaan HUT ke-65 MKGR. Bahlil meminta para kader jika membuat acara di DPR untuk mengawali dengan membaca Al-Quran.
Hal itu disampaikan Bahlil dalam sambutannya di acara MKGR, di Lodge Shangri-L. a., Jakarta, Sabtu (18/1/2025). Mulanya, Bahlil mengaku bertanya kepada Ketum MKGR Adies Kadir, pembacaan Al-Quran tersebut telah direncanakan atau bersifat dadakan.
“Saya tadi termenung juga, awal acara membaca ayat suci Al-Quran. Saya tanya Pak Adies, ‘Pak Adies ini kau baru buat atau sudah dari lama?’ Katanya sudah tradisi” kata Bahlil.

Bahlil lalu meminta para kader dan Wakil Ketua Banggar, Muhidin, jika membuat acara di DPR, harus mengawali dengan pembacaan Al-Quran. Bahlil mengatakan pembacaan Al-Quran diawa acara akan membuat negara aman.
“Ini mungkin Pak Muhidin kalau bisa buat acara di DPR begitu terus. Supaya aman negara kira-kira,” ujarnya.
Puncak HUT ke-65 MKGR ini juga dihadiri langsung oleh Bahlil dan jajaran pengurus Golkar. Selain itu hadir pula Utusan Khusus Presiden RI Raffi Ahmad, Menteri Hukum Supratman Andi Agtas, Menteri Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia Abdul Kadir Karding, Menteri Kependudukan dan Pembangunan Keluarga Wihaji, Menteri UMKM Maman Abdurrahman.
